I’m going to post what I ate today because I’m pretty proud of myself and the way I balanced splurging and maintaining discipline!
Breakfast: 1 egg, scrambled in a little bit of butter, with chopped broccoli on a 100-cal Arnold sandwich thin (248 cal)
Lunch: Quorn veggie chik’n cutlet cooked in water with broccoli and cauliflower + a Trader Joe’s nonfat blueberry greek yogurt cup (250 cal)
Snack: superfruit smoothie from Panera Bread (200 cal)
Dinner: veggie burger and some curly fries from the local diner (unsure on calories, but I had 900 left in my day with the workout I did this morning and myfitnesspal puts it around 800 using comparable substitutes)
I know a burger and fries normally doesn’t make for a healthy day, but I planned ahead and reduced my calories throughout the earlier part of the day so that it actually fit nicely calorie-wise and carried me through the end of the afternoon and the entire night without any urge to snack, which is great!
I forgot how great it feels to go to the gym! It levels me out and makes me feel like I’ve actually DONE something. Yay for sore muscles!
